Shadow colors series

SHADOW COLORS explores portraiture through layered vertical structures that simultaneously reveal and obscure the figure.

Built through accumulations of color, texture and rhythmic repetition, the paintings generate unstable perceptual fields where faces emerge, dissolve and reappear depending on distance, light and attention.

The series investigates the threshold between visibility and disappearance, questioning how perception is continuously shaped through emotional, cultural and technological filters.

Rather than concealing reality, these chromatic veils transform it, opening fragmented spaces where identity becomes fluid, unstable and unresolved.

Through material relief, optical vibration and large-scale presence, SHADOW COLORS creates an experience suspended between image and apparition.
