Matrix Series

The MATRIX series explores invisible structures, hidden connections and unstable systems of perception.

Inspired by concepts drawn from quantum physics, Christel Delrieu Pétraud constructs a visual language based on repetition, variation and interconnected forms. Each composition emerges from a flexible matrix where elements interact like particles within a shifting field.

Rather than representing the visible world, MATRIX attempts to reveal the underlying architecture that links matter, memory, language and human presence.

The series develops its own coded structure: a graphic alphabet built from modular connections and evolving patterns. Fragments of texts, thoughts and invisible narratives can be embedded within the works themselves, transforming each painting into both image and encrypted construction.

Between organic vibration and digital logic, MATRIX questions the limits of perception and suggests that reality may exist simultaneously across multiple layers.
